A GSI team in a 100% Muslim context was preparing to teach Scripture when their Bible translator was suddenly deported. Through the Strategic Initiative Fund, experienced church planters were able to visit, coach, and walk with the team through this crisis—leading to the first teaching of God’s Word in this language.

A GSI family in a closed country was interrogated, deported, and deeply traumatized after being discovered sharing the gospel. We cared for the workers, their children, and their sending church through counseling and intentional support. After a year of restoration, they chose not to return home—but to move to an even more challenging place where no church exists.
