Strategic Initiative Fund

Why this Fund?

Churches want to send well, missionaries want to serve faithfully, and the unreached desperately need healthy churches—but gaps in resources, coaching, and organizational infrastructure can slow the process down.

Real Life Impact of Strategic Care

A GSI missionary family moved to a new area and began learning the language, but they were struggling with the many challenges of living overseas. Their sending church seriously considered bringing them back to the United States. Thanks to the encouragement and practical support of a Care Team, however, the family received the help they needed to stay. The wife later shared,

“Even if we only saw one more person come to faith in Christ, it would all be worth it.”

That couple persevered, finished language study, and shared the gospel in *Suruma’s heart language for the very first time. Suruma heard the gospel, believed, and put her trust in Jesus.

Today, she is married to a pastor, helps lead women’s Bible studies in her church, and now serves on the GSI Care Team herself—supporting other missionaries in various countries.

What We Do?

We come alongside churches and missionaries with:

  • Proven systems and training

  • Experienced coaching and real-time support

  • Relational care for workers and their families

The Strategic Initiative Fund allows us to strengthen these supports exactly when and where they’re needed most.

What is The Plan

Your gift to the Strategic Initiative Fund helps us:

  • Invest strategically in the areas that most impact long-term church planting

  • Hire, develop, and equip staff and coaches so churches and workers are cared for well

  • Build healthy systems and remove barriers that slow or hinder gospel work

Give to the Strategic Initiative Fund

Your generosity helps us stay proactive, not reactive — strengthening the foundation that undergirds every church-planting effort.
